L.U.C.C.

Most of the time when we go to a different place, depending on the circumstances, we tend to be afraid, not knowing what to do, where to go.

This is one of the reasons why L.U.C.C. was born. To help immigrants in the area. To provide information, to educate them, and for them to know that there is a place where they can go and get help.

In all of these education also comes informing them about their responsibilities, their rights, and most of all we wish that they become knowledgeable of life in the United States.

- Sí a usted alguien no le ha pagado por algún trabajo que usted ha hecho. Usted tiene amparo por la ley del Departamento del Trabajo de los Estados Unidos.

El empleador que no pide papeles antes de que el empleado ejecute un trabajo, está oblidago por ley a pagar por el trabajo hecho por el empleado.

- Sí usted tiene un contrato con alguien para hacer un trabajo, ya sea de construcción, o de jardín, o de pintura, o lo que sea. Este seguro de estípular la cantidad de cobrará por dicho trabajo. (Si necesita un ejemplo de contrato, visite nuestra oficina).

- Sí no se logra un arreglo entre las partes, el empleado puede demandar sin importar su estatus migratorio. Debe de hacer la demanda en Magistrate Court. El costo es alrededor de $71.00.
